So I replaced both turbos with rebuilds. Don't know where they were rebuilt, just got them on ebay. Everything was fine for about 1500 miles, then the passenger side started smoking. It is driveable, just at traffic lights it will smoke after about 20 seconds. Threw in thicker oil, but only works for a few hundred miles then it smokes again... Anyway - Driver's side turbo won't smoke a drop. I am planning on selling this Z next summer so I would like to drive it as it is currently till it snows in NJ then garage it. Without pulling the 1 turbo and having it sent to be rebuilt before I sell it, is there a source for just 1 new turbo? Or atleast one with new CHRA? I know it would be best to replace both at once, but if that driver's side one isn't smoking next summer, would rather not pay for it if I'm selling it. Open to any advice on the matter.
